in a Summer Internship at Tertl Studos
Dates of Work: May through August, 2009
Work location: Montpelier, Vermont (partial telecommuting possible)
Tertl Studos LLC is an educational research and development company focusing on tools and games for mathematical and computational learning.
Summer internships are available on three projects:
-- building a powerful visual math tool for grades 4-10
-- developing online games for learning about data analysis and survey research
-- developing tools for kids to program their own multiplayer games
You may be able to participate as a...
software engineer, if you have
-- deep experience and exceptional talent in object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures
-- at least some knowledge of ActionScript
-- demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, working code
-- communication, teamwork, and self-management skills
graphic artist, if you have
-- a strong portfolio in user interface design, and/or
-- game character animation in an online comic book style
Pay: $12-$17/hr, depending on prior experience.
